Russell Webb is Claverdon Consulting’s founder and Managing Director. He resides near Sydney, and partners with recruitment businesses across Australia and New Zealand and into UK and Europe.
My career has taken me from leading recruitment teams and building high-performing sales cultures to becoming SThree's first Performance Coach, supporting consultants and leaders across the UK, Europe and North America. Since relocating to Australia, I've worked alongside recruitment businesses of every size, helping founders, leaders and consultants improve capability, consistency and commercial performance.
I founded Claverdon Consulting because I believe recruitment development should be practical, commercially relevant and measurable. Not simply provide an enjoyable day of training. I don't see myself as an external trainer. I'm a trusted partner, working alongside your business to help your people perform at a higher level.

People often ask where the name comes from.
My career in learning and development began with a simple focus: working alongside recruitment consultants, helping them build their skills, their confidence and their commercial performance. As my career grew into senior operational leadership, running teams, budgets and business performance, I realised the work I found most rewarding was still the same: working directly with people to unlock their potential.
